What we stand for

Minds Eye Events, LLC is proud to invest in our children's futures by contributing to Arts Ed Washington, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works to address the inequities in arts education within Washington's schools. ArtsEd Washington believes that "Education should light a fire under our children, inspire them to unearth new truths, challenge them with huge, seemingly unanswerable questions, and dazzle them with the possibilities that today's world offers them. Incorporating the arts into daily teaching accomplishes all of these things." We support this philosophy.

The arts instruction in many of our schools has been cut back or completely eliminated as a result of the numerous pressures of standardized testing and lack of funding. Recent research indicated that in 60% of Washington state's schools, students receive less than one hour per week of instruction in music, dance, theater, or visual art. We believe our children deserve the broad curriculum necessary for a complete education.

Together with your help, Minds Eye Events, LLC supports ArtsEd Washington in their effort to enable our children get the best educations possible. We donate $1.00 from the sale of each reunion ticket to ArtsEd Washington. Your support is greatly appreciated.
